Hello, and welcome back. This is the new, completely rewritten akpcep. I hope you like it. I anticipate there will be a shitload of bugs and so forth, as most of this was coded in the very early hours of the morning over the past week. If you see anything amiss, please email me and let me know. Hopefully there shouldn't be too many glaring errors that make me look really really stupid.

One point to note - If you're registered in the Grinding Shed, I recommend you choose the 'always stay logged in' option, as this means less fields to fill in on the front page, and your name will link to your shed profile so people can stalk you more easily.

And yeah, just for Amaurote, if you type /me in the tagboard before your message it acts like an IRC action command. *shrug* Don't ask.

So... back to business eh? Thanks for your patience.

Cool.

I believe that "leet" is the word we're looking for - it feels fluent, looks smooth, prim and yet also saucily risque. What I'm basically trying to convey is that Akpcep now looks like Suzy Dent of "Countdown" fame. This is an achievement that non-viewers of "Countdown" will not readily appreciate, but believe me, it's an infinitely handshandyable accomplishment, especially at this time of year. Well done Alex.

*bow* That was definitely what I was going for. Kind of Suzy Dent/early Carol Vorderman - classy, intelligent, but deep down a dirty whore who'd do anything for a bag of chips and a night down the roxy.

All power to that sentiment.

This piece was inspired by Andy Warhol's famous 'marilyn monroe' piece in which the same picture is used several times to create a pattern. If you look closely, you'll realise there's a lot going on here with the detailed background against the simple pixelated images create a convergence which I thought would be nice to experiment with. It was created in Photoshop and took me 5 hours to perfect.
