Last week I started getting hundreds of emails entitled "Amplify your cock" without a "remove me" option. It eventually cost me going to the site and writing them a rude letter via there FAQ section to get them to remove my email addy from their mailing list (Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy)

This week I'm being bombarded with emails selling Life Insurance.

I'm beginning to wonder is maybe somebody didn't like my letter?

I think you just gave them a verified email address... expect a lot more spam. The unsubscribe link in spam is there purely to confirm which email addresses are "live" so they can send you more, or sell your addy to their "partners".

The best thing you can do is get a good filter like SpamBayes, and you never have to see it again.

Got one of those on my email account. Pretty good too, except I completely forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.
