Oh Jesus. I don't even remember what kind of crapfest that refers to, or who this person is. Personally, I'm into the third or fourth iteration of making my CMS from scratch, and it's a MUCH messier crapfest than whatever that dork is talking about! Hmm, Renoise... it's a modern tracker... it's very stable and plays nice, so by all means download the "demo" (it's not restricted except rendering to .wav), and then click: help -> tutorial songs -> jong belegen (maybe not your cup of tea, but hopefully kinda impressive anyway)
