The audio player doesn't work on mobile devices I think (I probably could make it, but I don't wanna lel), and since recently skipping in tracks doesn't work in Firefox anymore (though I changed nothing, and it works in Chrome). If you select "list" or "full" next to "display as", you still can get at the normal play buttons.

Good lord... 10 years? That is the last time I take the scenic route home.

Anyway:

• I'm 42 now, soon to be 43. (I found a post here where I was bitching about turning 28. *shakes head*)
  
• Still married to the same amazing woman
  
• Still have four step-children, though we are now glorious empty nest types
  
• I have 9 grandchildren and counting... 9. I have a baseball team in grandchildren.
  
• Still with the same company, but as a manager of multiple teams doing coding and remote software training type things

All of which is to say, it was a good decade. I live a good life with lots of love, laughter, and occasional bouts of good-natured swearing.

All that started out with me writing something "against Bush" on the Flipside forum during the build-up for the Iraq war. Then later I wrote an English "poem" there, and that translated to German was the basis for what are still some of my favourite lyrics.. my favourite version of that atm would be this one I guess ^^

It took me ages to not hate everything I made all the time haha... it's still kinda shitty, but I made peace with that. For me it's about the lyrics anyway, not so much about music you listen to all the time, that would be depressing.

I really like those Johann. I like the first a bit better but I liked them both. I wish I could understand. I love hearing the German language.

That is my favourite and least expected aspect in all of this, that people could actually enjoy this as music and the language without speaking it!
