Hi chums,

Maybe your email address from 'back in the day' is dead, or maybe it isn't but you've got a different one registered against your AKPCEP account.

Never fear. If you have any issues logging into your old account drop me a line at admin@akpcep.com and I'll sort it out for you.

Another note - I'm being extremely strict on spam accounts, so if you've registered as a new user and you're not getting admin validated, again drop me an email and let me know the username and that you're not going to try and flog Viagra to the denizens of the Shed.

funnily enough, i remembered my old password first go BUT my profile has an old AIM account i can't seem to get rid of. blergh.
help meeeee....

Well, sweet ghoti, I believe I have fixed this, so can you try again?

Basically I'd jacked all the forum security settings up to max in a fit of paranoia and have now relaxed a few that might have been causing that.

Interesting - since last night, I get "[#2000] You are not allowed to visit this forum. " on any page (including what should be the log in page) in Firefox, but I can use the site fine in Chrome. This is even after I deleted the cookies from the site on Firefox.

Intredasting. Have you tried flushing your local DNS cache? Works fine for me in FF (I'm usually a Chrome user)

I haven't, but I'll play around with it more next time I'm on that computer. It's working fine on FF on the laptop, so I doubt it's the useragent really. Then again, I don't see what would cause that, either.
